Mondays at Room at the Inn Stimulus money to support housing is being activitated locally. St. Louis County received funding from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act and HUD to provide Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Services. Room at the Inn has nominated three clients for this program already. One was denied for lack of sufficient income. Two others, one single lady and a family of three, were both accepted and are being processed. Rapid Re-Housing can offer three to six months rental assistance, accompanied by budgeting and regular follow-ups, besides apartment maintenance monitoring. 10-5-09 CENSUS: Full House (15 adults and 5 children) In God's Providence, Sister Joann Nowak, OSF |
