Room at the Inn's 12th Annual Golf Tournament

Thank you to all that participated in Room at the Inn’s 12th Annueal Golf Tournament, held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Old Hickory Golf Club. Special thanks to our sponsors and volunteers. Our tournament was well attended, with 140 golfers. We had one hot day for a tournament, but our golfers and volunteers still seemed to make a fun day out of the event. Together we are helping Room at the Inn make a difference for unhoused families.

Next year’s tournament date will be August 17, 2026. Come join us at Old Hickory Golf Club for another great day of golf supporting a worthy cause.

Room at the Inn's First Ever Trivia Night was a Huge Success!

April 5, 2025 Room at the Inn held their first Trivia Night at Congregation Shaare Emeth's Temple.   We had a sold out event.  Dr Gil Gross was ourTrivia Master and did a great job leading the evening.  We met our fundraising goal of $15,000.  Looking forward to another Trivia Night next year.  Thank you to all that participated, served on the planning committee, and volunteered for the event.

It was a fun evening with great participation from all!

Open House May 2025

We are excited to announce that our building renovation at our Bridgeton site is at the halfway mark! To celebrate, we held an Open House to give a sneak peek of the renovation progress. It was quite moving seeing the progress, reflecting on the amount of work and vision that has gone into making this dream a reality. We

This is a community-wide effort, and we were humbled by the more than 90 Room at the Inn supporters who joined us for the Open House. The renovation would not be possible with this support!

We are also grateful to our late, former beloved Executive Director, David Weber, for envisioning what Room at the Inn can be. We are blessed by Laurie Phillips, our Executive Director, and our wonderful Board of Directors for their continued vision and unwavering support of the project. We are thankful to Lawlor Corporation, our contractor, and our architects, HKW for their strong partnership and execution. Everyone enjoyed lunch thanks to Lawlor Corporation.

We hope to move back to our Bridgeton location before the end of 2025.
